25th Anniversary of Ordinations!


25Congratulations and our best wishes goes to Very Rev. Andrzej Rafal Kopystynski, CM,  Rev. Eugeniusz Kotlinski, CM and Rev. Tadeusz Maciejewski CM. All of them celebrate their 25th Anniversary of Ordination to the Priesthood on May 28th, 2013.   All of them served at St. Stanislaus Kostka parish for a period of time.  Dear Jubilarians – we pray for you on this special occasions and we ask God to provide you with all the graces you need in your priestly apostolates.

Biographies of the Jubilarians:

Fr. Rafal Kopystynski CM was born in Grodkow Poland on February 28, 1963. He was ordained a priests on May 28 1988. His first assignment was the Basilica of St. Vincent de Paul in Bydgoszcz. In 1991 he worked at the Holy Cross church in Warsaw. In 1994 he was sent to St. Stanislaus Kostka Church in Brooklyn, Greenpoint. Between 1997 and 2000 he was a vicar at St. Peter’s Parish in Concord, New Hampshire. Then between 2000 and 2003 he serves as a vicar at Sts. Cyril and Methodius parish in Brooklyn. In 2003 he became a pastor of St. Stanislaus Kostka parish in Brooklyn, NY where he served until 2007 when he was selected the Superior Provincial of the New England Province of the Congregation of the Mission by the Superior General. Recently he was elected the Provincial for the next 3 year term.

Father Eugeniusz (Eugene) Kotlinski CM was born on December 30, 1962 in Poland. He was ordained a priests on May 28 1988. His first assignment was a small parish in Odporyszow, near Tarnow. Then he was a vicar at the Resurrection (Zmartwychwstania Panskiego) church in Bydgoszcz. When he arrived into the New England Province in 2003 he was assigned to Sts. Cyril and Methodius church in Brooklyn then he want to New Hampshire to improve his English language kills. After serving at St. Peter’s Parish in Concord, New Hampshire he became a vicar at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church and in 2008 he was assigned a pastor of Holy Name of Jesus Church in 2008. In 2012 he was transferred to serve St Hedwig church and St. Mary’s church as a pastor of both places.

Father Tadeusz Maciejewski CM, born on July 27, 1963 in Bydgoszcz, Poland. He was ordained priest in May 1988 for the Province of Poland of the Congregation of the Mission. His first parish was Our Lady of Lourdes parish in Krakow. In 1995 he arrived to the United States and St. Stanislaus Parish, New Haven, CT was his first assignment as vicar. In 1996 he moved to Greenpoint and stays there almost all time to present. First he was appointed vicar at SS Cyril and Methodius Parish, which bishop Daily of Brooklyn handed to Vincentian Fathers that year in acknowledgement for they accomplishments in pastoral ministry in his diocese. Temporarily, in 2000 moved to St. Peter’s Parish, Concord, NH. Returned to Greenpoint later in the year and became vicar at St. Stanislaus Kostka Parish. From here he was transferred to SS. Cyril and Methodius again and has been appointed the Pastor and Superior.
