Passion of Jesus…

Today and this week our Church leads us to the center of God’s forgiving love for us. At the Last Supper, Jesus took bread, blessed it, and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, “Take, eat; this is my body.” Later he took a cup, and when he had given thanks he gave it to them, saying, “Drink of it, all of you; for this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.”
On the Palm Sunday we should ask ourselves how do we respond to Him? We know that Judas did not accept God’s forgiveness. Peter at first could not but later he did. Pontius Pilate tried to deny responsibility by washing his hands of it..
Today we should enter into the passion and death of Christ. Do not say – I am not interested. I do not want to be bothered…
God loves you. God offers His life for you. Enter. Come to Jesus. Be one with Him. He forgives you. Rejoice! Sing Hosanna in your heart. Be saved!
