Parish Support Program Kickoff!

“One Spirit, One Soul, One Parish Community”.      St. Stanislaus Kostka Church announces the beginning of a very important program  that will affect the life of our Catholic community. The Parish Support Program  established by the Diocesan Bishop for all parishes is an opportunity for  parishioners to stand together, in one spirit, in the stewardship of their  parish as Catholics; a faith community sharing their individual time, talent and  treasure. All parishioners will be asked to participate by making a stronger commitment to your faith through this program. We are asking each parishioner to reflect on the importance of this program and consider a sacrificial increase in their weekly offering to St. Stanislaus Kostka. All parishioners will receive an appeal brochure, commitment envelope and will be asked to consider an increase in their weekly offering to the parish.  Improving our parish finances is imperative at this time. Our parish’s future depends on all of us. It is our responsibility to ensure that our parish continue to thrive.  Every member of our parish family will be asked to participate (whether you use the envelope system or not) and make a financial commitment for the next twelve  months. An annual commitment is just that: a specific amount promised to the parish for the coming year.  Our parish has been blessed over the years to have many faithful parishioners and many good programs and services. We want these programs to continue, for our children and grandchildren. A positive response to this appeal will greatly aid our parish financially and help to continue the good works of St. Stanislaus Kostka for years to come.  “Only let your manner of life be worthy of the Gospel of Christ, so that whether  I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of you that you are standing firm in  one spirit, with one mind striving side by side for the faith of the Gospel.”  (Philippians 1:27) On Saturday and Sunday, September 25th & 26th, you will be asked to return your Commitment Envelope with a decision. If you are going to be out of town or  unable to attend Mass the weekend of September 25th & 26th, please drop off your  commitment envelope at the Rectory Office or simply place it in the collection  basket the following weekend. It can also be mailed directly to the parish if necessary. May these words always sound in your heart: “One Spirit, One Soul, One Parish Community”. Let us build responsibility for our parish.
