On Wednesday, June 16, 2010, 22 Kindergarten students of the St. Stanislaus Kostka School, Brooklyn, enjoyed the last day of school tonight. At the 7 PM graduation ceremony at the school auditorium, all students presented their graduation program.
Students started with the recitation of prayers – Our Father and Hail Mary Angel of God, Glory be to the father… They also recited the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. With the accompaniment of Mrs. Bozena on piano they sung the following songs: God Bless America, You’re a Grand Old Flag, Rock Around the Alphabet, This Little Light of Mine. They also counted by 2’s, 5’s, and 10’s, they also recited a few poems like God’s creation and ABC Farewell.
Children were applauded by their teacher, Mrs. Sharkey, parents, grandparents and guests. Students received their diplomas from Mrs. Christina Cieloszczyk, the Principal of St. Stanislaus Kostka School and from Fr. Marek Sobczak, CM, the Pastor.
They also thanked the parents and volunteers who helped with the Kindergarten program, the principal, their teacher, music teacher and Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth.
