Christmas Pageant

stajenka3 The Christmas Pageant, a tradition in St. Stan’s Parish and school, took place on the weekend of December 17-18. St. Stan’s Catholic Academy Presents The Annual Christmas Pageant

A lovely tradition took place in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church on the weekend of December 11-12, 2010.  Thirty-five students from St. Stan’s Catholic Academy presented their annual Christmas Pageant at the three English Masses:  5:30 PM on Saturday and 9:00 and 11:00 AM on Sunday.  Dressed in traditional First Christmas garb, children from grades 1-8 were shepherds, angels, kings, barn animals and the Holy Family.  The Holy Infant was a wax figure crafted by Polish artisans in Warsaw during the First World War.  The children’s choir sang traditional hymns in Polish and English, including “Silent Night,” “O Little Town of Bethlehem,” “Pojdzmy Wszyscy do Stajenki,” “The Friendly Beasts,” and “The Little Drummer Boy.”  Continue reading St. Stan’s Catholic Academy Presents The Annual Christmas Pageant
