We mourn with you…

swieca1Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone impacted by the tornadoes and severe weather in Oklahoma, especially the families and loved ones of those killed, injured or missing. May Almighty God be their strength and bless them with His Love. May the souls of all who lost their lives so tragically live in Him forever.

God is our refuge and our strength, an ever-present help in distress. Thus we do not fear, though earth be shaken and mountains quake to the depths of the sea, Though its waters rage and foam and mountains totter at its surging.  Streams of the river gladden the city of God, the holy dwelling of the Most High. God is in its midst; it shall not be shaken; God will help it at break of day.  Though nations rage and kingdoms totter, he utters his voice and the earth melts. The LORD of hosts is with us; our stronghold is the God of Jacob. “Be still and know that I am God! I am exalted among the nations, exalted on the earth.” The LORD of hosts is with us; our stronghold is the God of Jacob. (Psalm 46)

De profundis clamavi ad te Domine…

On the saddest day in the modern history of Poland, when the whole nation bids farewell to the President Mr Lech Kaczynski and First Lady Maria Kaczynska,  we are uniting in grief and sorrow with all Polish people, those living in Poland and on all continents of the world.
We offer our prayers and supplication for the eternal repose of the deceased, for the consolation in the faith of those who have lost loved ones, and for the development of Polish nation in peace and prosperity
May angels lead you into paradise;
upon your arrival, may the martyrs receive you
and lead you to the holy city of Jerusalem.
May the ranks of angels receive you,
and with Lazarus, the poor man, may you have eternal rest.

„Dzisiaj nasze serca biją razem z rodzinami prezydenckiej pary. Z bliskimi pani Marii i Lecha Kaczyńskich. Jutro będziemy żegnać kolejne ofiary. Na mogiłach tych, którzy zginęli, z czułością kładziemy wieniec. Wieniec prawdy, która ocalała. Niech wspólnie przeżyta żałoba, to solidarne wzruszenie zmieni Polskę na lepszą. O to prosimy Boga”.  (Janusz Śniadek)
Niech Aniołowie zawiodą cię do raju,
A gdy tam przybędziesz, niech przyjmą cię męczennicy
I wprowadzą cię do krainy życia wiecznego.
Chóry Anielskie niechaj cię podejmą
I z Chrystusem zmartwychwstałym miej radość wieczną.
