SACRAMENT OF BAPTISM

Baptisms are celebrated every Sunday after the 1 PM Mass.
TO QUALIFY AS A GODPARENT:
-
-
be not less than sixteen years of age,
-
be a catholic who has been confirmed,
-
not be either the father or the mother of the person to be baptised,
-
must be a registered member of any Catholic Parish,
-
is a practicing Catholic (e.g. regular Sunday Mass attendance),
-
must have a sacramental marriage if married,
-
A baptised person who belongs to a non-catholic ecclesial community may be admitted only in company with a catholic sponsor, and then simply as a witness to the baptism.

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION

Children receive First Holy Communion in the third grade. They are required to participate in the religious education program for three (3) years.
|
SACRAMENT OF CONFIRMATION
|

Children receive Sacrament of Confirmation in the seventh (7) grade. They are required to participate in the religious education program from the first (1) grade.

Adults who were not Confirmed should contact the parish office for more information.

SACRAMENT OF MARRIAGE
|

A couple is requested to meet with a priest 6 month prior to their wedding date. It is a Diocesan law.

The couple must attend Pre-Cana classes.

SACRAMENT OF THE SICK
|

Please call the Rectory to arrange visit of the Priest for the confession, for the Holy Communion and the annointing with the oil of sick.

In the danger of death please call priest as soon as possible.
