During the Bible class for adults a teacher asked a simple question? “How do we know that those three Magi were men not women? The lady answered him: “We all know that men are too proud to ask directions. If there had been three wise women instead of three wise men, they would have asked for directions, arrived on time, helped deliver the baby, cleaned the stable, made a casserole, and given some practical gifts!”
Let us offer Jesus our gifts on this feast of Epiphany – a simple gift of friendship with God in the form of wholehearted love and devotion and our gift of friendship with others by leading them to Jesus by our exemplary lives of Christian charity in action. Let us offer to God our gift of peace by seeking God in our lives as much as possible.
