First religious profession

CzaplinskaMarysia-sluby2015-1.jpgSister Ishah Ahot of Jesus O.C.D. (a.k.a. Marysia Czaplinski – class od 2001 of St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Academy) celebrated her first religi
ous profession of holy vows in October of this year. Many thanks to all the family and friends who came to celebrate that special milestone with her, including Fr. Joseph Szpilski of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, who was co-celebrant of the mass. Sister Ishah Ahot of Jesus is a member of the Discalced Carmelite nuns of Morristown, NJ, where she and her congregation seek union with God by a consecrated life of prayer and self-sacrifice, striving to live the evangelical counsels as perfectly as possible in the spirit of their foundress, Sts. Teresa of Avila, and John of the Cross. Carmelites aid the mission of the Church by offering this contemplatiCzaplinskaMarysia-sluby2015-2.jpgve form of religious life especially for priests and missionaries, as well as for the salvation of souls.  We wish her much love and strength as she continues on her journey and keep her in our thoughts and prayers.
