Wednesday, June 15, 2011 was a great night for the Kindergarten students of St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Academy. 17 students presented their graduation programs and received their diplomas from Mrs. Christina Cieloszczyk, the Principal of St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Academy and from Fr. Marek Sobczak, CM, a representative of the Board of Members of the Academy and the Pastor of St. Stanislaus Kostka parish.
After the welcome song, all the children recited their prayers – Our Father and Hail Mary and they said their Pledge of Allegiance (I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all).
With the accompaniment of Mrs. Bozena on piano then they sung the following songs: God Bless America, Alphabet song, Simple Gifts, Jesus I will Stay with You, Goodbye to Kindergarten. They recited Seven Days poem as well as If I were a Butterfly. They also counted 1-20 and by 5’s and 10’s to One Hundred.
Children were applauded by parents, grandparents and guests.
Mrs. Sharkey is the teacher of Kindergarten at St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Academy. She did a fabulous job with children. Congratulations and thank you.
