A number of ethnic groups from parishes in the diocese are being honored with a mural of their countries’ patron Blessed Mother painted on the ceiling of the newly-renovated Co-Cathedral of St. Joseph in Brooklyn. Polish ethnic group is represented by a beautiful icon of Our Lady of Częstochowa along with St. John Paul II and St. Maximilian Kolbe. This is a tribute to immigrants in the Brooklyn Diocese. Each parish is being asked to assist with the costs incurred. Thus special commemorative certificates in the amounts of $10, 20, 50, 100 and 200 are available for purchase in the parish rectory to help cover these costs. We encourage everyone to make a donation for this honor. You can make a donation by mail also.
