Roman Missal Resources

New English translation of the 3rd edition of the Roman Missal is a fact. Some of the words we use at Mass are changed.  For many people, change does not come easy. It interrupts familiar routine.  But change also gives us the opportunity to stop and reflect on what we are doing and to come to a better understanding of how the Holy Spirit moves amongst us in every time and every age.

There are many helpful resources on the web where you can read about the changes that took place place in our liturgy.  The link to the left will take you to the Loyola Press website.  There you will find  list of articles that deal with an explanation of the words we use at Mass, characteristics of the Text, and an explanation of how meaning can be lost, or found, depending on the faithfulness of the translation.
