Welcome Fr. Stanislav Zontak CM.

We welcome to our parish, Fr. Stanislav Zontak, C.M. He is one of four Assistants to the Superior General, Head of the Congregation of the Mission of St. Vincent DePaul, and resides in the General House in Rome.  Fr. Zontak was born in Slovakia. He began his priestly ministry in Slovakia, continued his study in Rome, Italy, and later he worked in the African missions where he served as Provincial Superior in the Province of Congo. Presently Fr. Zontak, like the other Assistants, helps our General and visits outlying Provinces, where the Congregation provides pastoral service.

Over the weekend, Fr. Zontak would like to see what life is like in our parish, and during the week he will conduct a Day of Reflection on “the Vincentian character of a parish” for the priests in the New England Province.
