Today, September 18th, we celebrate the Feast of Saint Stanislaus Kostka, the Patron Saint of our parish. On this blessed occasion we wish you all, many graces from God. The board of trustees has petitioned the Board of Regents to form a corporation to operate a nursery school for preschool children from three to five years of age, a universal pre-k program, a kindergarten for five year olds, and a grade one through eight elementary school. Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth have played a very important role in our parish of St. Stanislaus Kostka for many years. They used to administer the parochial school, they served as teachers and leaders in the school and in the parish for many years. They still are involved in the life of the parish by helping with the school, teaching the CCD program, leading children in prayers, participating in spiritual programs and devotions. We would like to tell you more about this religious community.
